Officials at The Preiss Company (TPCO), one of the nation’s largest, privately-held, student housing owner-operators, today announced several promotions in preparation for continued growth and enhancement of the company’s property management platform.
“From our inception over 35 years ago, The Preiss Company was founded on strong property management and operations. Our property management team has been the catalyst for our overall performance as an organization always, and with these promotions, we are not only acknowledging the hard work done by some of the individuals who have been instrumental to our growth, but also utilizing their individual strengths” said Adam Byrley, Chief Operating Officer, TPCO. “Their new positions will continue to foster our company’s growth in 3rd party property management and joint-venture acquisitions, while providing additional emphasis on certain areas of our business operations.”
The new promotions include:
- Sara Clark, Executive Vice President of Property Management
Clark joined TPCO in 2005 and has served in multiple roles with the company, including Property Manager, Regional Manager, and most recently as Vice President. Sara has been instrumental in developing the company’s management and operations platform to what it is today. In her new role as Executive Vice President of Property Management, Sara joins the TPCO executive team as she becomes involved with the entire management portfolio. She will be responsible for overall property management operations and will provide direct oversight over strategic assets and partnerships.
- Chloe Rasmussen, Vice President of Property Management
In her new role, the former Regional Vice President now will be responsible for the operational success of additional properties and regional managers within the TPCO portfolio, totaling over 10,000 beds. Having joined TPCO in 2006, Rasmussen has held multiple roles within the organization, including Property Manager and Regional Manager. Most recently, she was responsible for numerous markets throughout the portfolio, including direct oversight of TPCO’s Raleigh and Conventional Multi-Family portfolios.
- Chelsey Harper, Regional Vice President
Since joining TPCO in 2011, Harper has served as Property Manager and Regional Manager in such markets as Clemson, Statesboro, and Greenville. In her most recent role as regional manager, she was directly responsible for overseeing over a dozen assets within the company’s portfolio. As Regional Vice President, she will have direct oversight over two Regional Managers, as well as continued direct oversight of a small number of strategic assets.
